Job Title: Mortgage Processing AssistantDescription:Mortgage Processing Assistants provide vital administrative support to the Processing team by managing documentation and coordinating communication. This role involves working across multiple systems to support a high-volume pipeline of mortgage loans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and assembling paperworkCommunicate with internal employees via phone to gather borrower informationWork within multiple systems to manage loan documentationContact third-party companies to retrieve loan-related informationOrder and verify homeowner’s insurance documentsRequest and receive necessary mortgage documentationConduct employment verifications for potential borrowersAccurately enter mortgage documents into internal databasesRequired Skills:Administrative supportData entryLoan processingGeneral support in mortgage operationsPreferred Qualifications:1+ year of experience in financial services (mortgage experience preferred)3+ years of administrative and data entry experienceStrong written communication skillsAbility to navigate multiple systems efficientlyHigh attention to detailSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExperience in financial services or banking is a plusComfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExperience Level:Entry LevelPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
