Candidates must reside in Colorado (CO), Massachusetts (MA), or New York (NY).Job Title: Senior Network Support AnalystWork Arrangement: 100% RemoteEmployment Type: Direct PlacementOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Network Support Analyst to join our Network Management Center (NMC) team. In this role, you will provide critical support for a leading provider of advanced network services, ensuring network resilience and rapid service restoration. You will work closely with internal teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network elements across Layer 1, 2, and 3 technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Network Support Analyst will manage end-to-end technical support, from identifying service impairments to full resolution. Responsibilities include monitoring network events, conducting intrusive testing for Ethernet, VPN, ELAN, and IP services, and managing trouble tickets. You will apply strong technical proficiency in Ethernet switching (VLANs, STP, trunking, port-channeling) and routed networks (OSPF, BGP, VRFs), troubleshoot LAN handoffs, and interface with multiple teams to coordinate repairs and updates. Participation in scheduled maintenance windows and on-call rotations is required.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of NOC or Network Engineering experienceMust have prior experience working for a telecommunications or broadband company as a Network AnalystBachelor’s degree in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferredCisco certifications (CCNA or CCNP) strongly preferredHands-on experience with DWDM, Ethernet, Layer 2/3 switching, and routing technologiesFamiliarity with LAN protocols and troubleshooting methodologiesExperience using CLI across Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia devicesStrong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAdditional DetailsProficiency with Microsoft Office and network monitoring toolsAbility to work flexible hours in a 24x7 environment, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotationsPerformance standards include maintaining 99.999% network availability and meeting MTTR objectivesCompensationSalary up to $80,000 annually, based on experience.BenefitsThe end client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysLife and disability insuranceProfessional development and training opportunitiesAbout the CompanyOur client is a premier provider of high-performance network solutions, delivering reliable connectivity and managed services to enterprise customers.
