Customer Service Representative

About the RoleWe are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-performing team supporting a top-tier client. This role is critical in delivering exceptional service and handling a wide range of customer needs. You will be the go-to resource for drivers, fleet managers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email and phone.Assist with vehicle ordering and other customer service-related tasks.Handle complex situations (e.g., impounded vehicles) with problem-solving and empathy.Manage a high volume of emails and cases; ensure accurate documentation in internal systems.Make outbound calls for follow-ups and gather missing information.Utilize internal systems (CARE) for issue tracking and resolution.Perform data entry in real time while multitasking across multiple screens.Use Excel functions (including VLOOKUP) for data sorting and reporting.Support processes such as billing changes, insurance card distribution, and driver data updates.Required Skills & Qualifications2+ years of office-based customer service experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional demeanor for video meetings (via Teams)Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel – including basic pivot tables)Ability to type at least 40 WPMExperience with Salesforce preferredHigh school diploma requiredAdditional InformationHours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM1-hour unpaid lunchTwo 15-minute breaksEnvironment: Business casual, brand-new office with amenities (ping pong tables, golf simulator, gym membership with classes and sauna)Why Join?Opportunity to work with a stable, growing organizationPotential for contract extension or permanent hireOvertime available for those interestedCollaborative and supportive team environmentJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
