Job OverviewWe are seeking Commercial Low Voltage Installation Technicians to support ongoing projects throughout Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for technicians with hands‑on experience running and terminating low‑voltage cabling in commercial environments who are looking for stable work with long‑term potential.Technicians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of low‑voltage systems, including telecommunications and security infrastructure, while delivering quality workmanship and strong customer service.Top Skills & Core Requirements1+ year of commercial low‑voltage experienceProven experience running and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cablingExperience punching down to blocks and patch panelsMust be local to Nashville, TNPrimary ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair low‑voltage systems in commercial settingsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagramsInstall and program low‑voltage systems including:Telecommunications equipmentSecurity systemsAudio and video systemsTroubleshoot wiring, connectivity, and system performance issuesEnsure all work complies with local and national electrical codesCollaborate with team members to complete projects on scheduleMaintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materialsProvide professional customer service and ensure client satisfactionSecondary Skills (Nice to Have)CCTV systemsAccess control systemsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree or technical certification preferredMinimum 1 year of experience installing low‑voltage systems in commercial environmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAdditional Skills & ExpectationsDependable with a proven record of punctualityStrong attention to detailGrowth mindset and solid work ethicJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
