Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, implementing therapy interventions, documenting progress, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and supervising OT assistants. Weekend/holiday rotation may be required.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide OT services in inpatient and outpatient settingsEvaluate patients and create individualized treatment plansAdminister OT procedures across all age groupsAct as case manager for assigned patientsMaintain accurate and timely documentationReassess and revise treatment plans as neededEducate patients and caregivers on therapy and home programsTrain patients/families on adaptive/assistive equipmentCommunicate with physicians, families, and rehab teamParticipate in meetings, program development, and student supervisionMaintain safe, clean treatment areasSupport orientation of new staff and healthcare professionalsRequired Skills & Experience1 year of experience in acute care or outpatient hand therapy preferredNew grads consideredStrong clinical skills in OT evaluation and treatmentAbility to treat Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patientsExcellent interpersonal and critical‑thinking skillsAbility to lift/push/pull patients and equipmentKnowledge of OT laws and regulationsEducation & LicensureMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)California OT license (required; applicants may be considered)NBCOT certification (required)BLS (AHA or equivalent)Preferred:CHTPAM certificationAdvanced Practitioner certifications (e.g., Hands)CCS paneling for NICU (or willingness to apply when eligible)About Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-AlliedAmergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has connected the nation’s top talent to a variety of healthcare and educational partners since 1988.
