Schedule Night shift, 3x12.0 hours per week. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and participants in training. Responsibilities Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized plans of care. Identify patient and family teaching needs from the nursing admission assessment and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Provide timely patient information and status updates during Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record. Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care using the nursing process. Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission, anticipating discharge needs. Communicate pertinent changes in patient status to other care providers to support continuity of care. Direct, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. Maintain a safe work environment following hospital and nursing policies. Actively participate in team building activities to foster a positive unit atmosphere. Assume charge responsibilities as requested and demonstrate effective time management in meeting patient needs. Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience. Experience in PCU/Critical Care or Step-Down required. Why ARMStaffing?
