The RN develops, implements, evaluates, and documents individualized care plans, provides leadership within the OR, and maintains effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and the surgical team. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care (40%) – Assess surgical patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care as needed to maintain patient safety. Room & Team Coordination (30%) – Supervise room activities, anticipate and manage schedule changes, prepare equipment and supplies, assist anesthesia, and monitor the sterile field. Communication (20%) – Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, OR staff, leadership, and ancillary departments.
