Quality Engineer 1

Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer 1 with strong experience in software integration testing, automated testing, and quality engineering. This role focuses on test automation, Data-driven Testing, data evaluations, test design, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform software integration testing, functional testing, and test automationAnalyze and diagnose test failures, defects, and quality issuesEscalate and report key quality issues, driving root-cause analysis and resolutionContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks Minimum Requirements2+ years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or Software Quality Engineer.Experience programming or scripting in PythonBonus: Experience with SwiftHands-on experience with test planning, test design, test case authoring, manual testing, and using test automation frameworksBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field Preferred QualificationsExperience in AI product testing, dataset collection, and metrics reportingAbility to write shell scripts and familiarity with XcodeAbility to modify existing iOS applications or automation codeStrong ability to analyze and identify root causes in multi-tiered, client–server environmentsKnowledge of logging systems, analytics tools, or monitoring systemsStrong troubleshooting and debugging skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishSelf-motivated, curious, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality resultsExperience with virtual assistants, voice platforms, or conversational technologies is a plusJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
