This individual will greet patients, manage check‑in/check‑out functions, handle insurance and billing processes, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy medical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Support & Front DeskWarmly greet every patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive toneGuide new patients through required paperworkPerform patient registrationAnswer phones, check voicemails, schedule and follow up on appointmentsCollect co‑pays and address charge‑related questionsInsurance & Administrative TasksVerify insurance and complete authorizationsMaintain accurate patient demographicsClose out day‑end tasksDocumentation & SystemsUse EMR systems: Therapy Source and Rehab ToolkitDocument all patient interactions with accuracy and professionalismRequired Skills & Experience1+ year of medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service experienceExcellent customer service (in‑person and over the phone)Strong computer skillsAbility to manage a heavy workload and multitaskHighly reliable and punctualHealthcare background preferred but not requiredCall center experience with strong service skills acceptableTop Skills – Must HavesMedicalHealthcareFront DeskNice‑to‑Have SkillsEMRInsuranceCopaysPatient demographicsWorkplace Type: On‑siteJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract‑to‑Hire position covering 4 local offices in Westerville, Ohio and Delaware, OhioWesterville, OH: must be able to cover 2 Westerville + 2 Delaware officesCandidates will know schedules in advance but must be flexible with limited notice.Pay and BenefitsThe pay rate for this position is $18.00/hr.Eligible benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), HSA, Life & AD&D, Disability, EAP, and PTO.Workplace TypeThis is a fully on‑site position across multiple outpatient clinic locations.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
