The RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting, working with both adult and adolescent patients experiencing a variety of behavioral health conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and de-escalation skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced behavioral health environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients (adolescents and adults). Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, and substance abuse. Implement and monitor treatment plans under physician direction. Assist with behavioral crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. Conduct 15-minute safety checks and patient monitoring. Administer medications and document care using EPIC EMR. Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists, and mental health technicians to support patient recovery. Follow hospital protocols for safety, restraint use, and behavioral health care standards.
