Customer Service RepresentativePosition SummaryIf you enjoy problem‑solving and helping people, this role may be a great fit. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with billing questions, taking payments, helping with online portal access, and addressing general inquiries. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume contact center while delivering accurate, professional, and friendly service across multiple communication channels.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound customer interactions related to billing inquiries, payments, portal navigation, and general account questionsProvide exceptional customer service via phone, text chat, and email in a high‑volume contact center environmentTake ownership of customer requests and resolve inquiries efficiently, accurately, and professionallyAnalyze customer information to make appropriate decisions and resolve issues while maintaining a positive caller experiencePerform basic mathematical calculations (percentages, addition, subtraction, division) to address billing‑related questionsNavigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously to research, analyze, and resolve customer concernsMeet established productivity, quality, and service level standardsComply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements (SOX), and payment security standards (PCI)Complete additional tasks and special projects as assignedWork overtime as needed to support business demandsRequired Skills & Qualifications1–2 years of customer service experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills with a service‑focused mindsetAbility to make quick, sound decisions in a fast‑paced, high‑volume contact center environmentProficiency with computers, including keyboarding, web navigation, and multi‑monitor setupsWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Strong multitasking, time‑management, and problem‑solving skillsProfessionalism, reliability, and personal accountability in handling customer interactionsAbility to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressureEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCollege degree or currently pursuing coursework is a plusPrior experience in a high‑volume contact center environment is preferredExperience LevelEntry LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of O FALLON, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
