Direct Support Professional

We are seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. DutiesAssist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.Implement individualized daily living activities tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals, fostering a positive environment.Monitor and document as neededAssist with mobility and transportation needs to ensure individuals can participate in community activities.Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.Maintain a clean, safe environment for individuals by adhering to health and safety regulations.RequirementsHSD or GED preferred, but not necessaryValid driver's license with acceptable driving record-requiredCurrent auto insurance and transportation- requiredAbility to perform daily living tasks, including hygiene assistance if neededStrong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with individualsEmpathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
