This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Electrophysiology providers in a dynamic outpatient clinic with inpatient support, specializing in advanced cardiac device management. Position Details Title: Cardiac Device RN Location: Seattle, WA (98101) Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8-hour shifts) Shift Times: Staggered start times (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM range) Employment Type: Contract / Travel Call Requirement: None Weekend/Holiday Requirement: None Why This Opportunity? Work with a top-tier Electrophysiology team (2 EP Physicians + 3 APPs) Exposure to advanced cardiac device technologies Supportive environment with device reps and experienced permanent staff onsite No weekends, no holidays, no call – excellent work-life balance Located in a vibrant downtown Seattle medical center Unit Overview Setting: Outpatient Cardiac Device Clinic + Inpatient Peri-Op Support Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric Support Team: 1 Device RN + 1 Device Tech (permanent staff) EMR Systems: Cerner | Contado (Device Management System – training provided) Orientation: 1–2 days general + up to 5 days with preceptor Key Responsibilities Perform device interrogation and programming Manage implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, etc.) Conduct post-operative wound assessments and follow-ups Monitor devices remotely and respond to alerts Provide peri-operative device management for inpatient cases Collaborate with EP physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams Educate patients on device care and management Device Experience Required Candidates must have hands-on experience with: Boston Scientific Medtronic Abbott Biotronik Required Qualifications Active RN License BLS (AHA) Certification Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) – REQUIRED Strong experience in device interrogation & programmers Highly Preferred Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) Experience with post-implant wound management Prior experience in both outpatient and inpatient device management Additional Information Floating: Between inpatient & outpatient settings within the same facility Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs Support: Strong collaboration with EP team & device representatives Training: System training provided for Contado Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented with strong technical device knowledge Experienced in cardiac device programming and troubleshooting Excellent communication and patient education skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment ✨ Join a cutting-edge cardiac program in Seattle and take your expertise in cardiac device management to the next level!
