This role represents our company well to our customers. Performs in-plant operations utilizing forklift such as loading and unloading trucks, moving raw and finished product to and from production areas, and places items in designated areas in the warehouse.____________________Key ResponsibilitiesClass B License with DMV health cardFollow DOT regulationsClean driving recordStrong directional sense or working knowledge of the local area highway systemCustomer service type attitude representing the company to our customersHigh school diploma or GED (preferred)1 year shipping and receiving experienceForklift certification a plusGood organizational skills and the ability to follow multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skills. This is a customer service positionAbility to maintain a regular and reliable attendance recordConsistent legible writing skillsBasic typing and computer skills helpfulFluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English languageAbility to lift and move 1-50 lbs as neededAbility to interact with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative mannerAbility to work independently with little or no supervision____________________Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily inspection log for company truck.Make sure necessary repairs and preventative maintenance are promptly scheduled.Provide feedback on route efficiency, and any customer issues or complaints.Ensure that POD is secured and returned to plant on all delivered products.Represent the organization in a courteous, professional, and presentable manner at all times.
