Roles & Responsibilities Deliver compassionate medical-surgical and geriatric nursing care for a mostly older adult population Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing plans, and evaluate outcomes Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs and the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care Support post-surgical rehab patients through recovery and safe transitions Manage patient needs using EPIC for documentation and communication Troubleshoot CPAP and work with respiratory therapy resources as needed Perform team assignments and help maintain safe nurse to patient workflow Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license (eligible to submit) required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA) Preferred certifications: PALS and TNCC Experience with EPIC electronic charting Comfort with geriatric patient care, dementia, stroke and skin care management Previous ER experience preferred but not required Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accepted; BSN not required Knowledge & Skills Strong medical-surgical nursing skills and geriatric care knowledge Experience with EPIC charting system Ability to work in team-assignment model and collaborate across disciplines Familiarity with CPAP management and basic respiratory troubleshooting Skilled at assessing skin integrity, dementia-related behaviors and rehab needs Good critical thinking, communication and patient advocacy skills Benefits Generous travel support and housing assistance to help you feel at home away from home Medical, dental and vision coverage options to keep you healthy Licensure assistance and reimbursement so you can focus on care, not paperwork Paid time off to recharge between assignments Supportive team culture where your expertise is valued Professional development and continuing education support Referral bonus program to reward you for bringing great teammates Simple, friendly onboarding with a three-shift unit orientation to get you confident fast Travel Perks: Explore Turtle Lake, North Dakota Turtle Lake is a charming rural North Dakota community where you can enjoy small-town hospitality and outdoor time on nearby lakes and trails.
