Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Call Centre (Essential Role)Position OverviewWe are seeking high‑calibre Customer Service Representatives to support a 24/7 healthcare call centre environment. Representatives will handle high‑volume inbound calls from patients, doctors’ offices, hospitals, and smaller medical clinics. This role is critical to patient care and clinic operations and is considered an essential position.This opportunity is best suited for individuals who are reliable, professional, eager to learn, and committed to long‑term employment.Top Must‑Have QualitiesStrong desire to learn – avid learners who take feedback well and grow quicklyCompetitive edge & strong work ethic – motivated to meet and exceed KPIsSchedule flexibility – must have 10 hours of daily availability to be scheduledPositive, professional attitude – calm and confident on sensitive callsProven job tenure – consistent work history with demonstrated reliabilityNear‑perfect attendance – reliability is critical for this roleCandidates without strong attendance or proven tenure will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer high‑volume inbound calls from patients and medical professionalsDetermine the appropriate on‑call provider for hospitals and clinicsAccurately locate and verify provider contact information using internal databasesTriage and route calls to the correct medical professional or departmentMaintain professionalism and empathy while handling sensitive patient informationMeet performance metrics, including 85% of calls answered within 30 secondsRequired Skills & ExperienceCall centre or high‑volume customer service experience requiredStrong phone presence with clear, confident communication skillsAbility to type 40+ WPM while actively engaging on callsExperience handling sensitive or high‑stakes conversationsDemonstrated reliability and strong attendance historyAbility to remain calm and focused under pressurePreferred / Nice to HaveFamiliarity with medical terminologyPrevious healthcare or medical call centre experienceSchedule & Training RequirementsTraining Schedule: Typically 10:30 AM – 6:30 / 7:00 PMTraining Duration: Approximately 2–3 weeksAttendance during training is mandatory❗ Any missed training days will result in removal from the classPost‑Training ScheduleMust work Sunday shiftsOff days: Saturday + one weekdayMust be flexible to work between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PMThis is a 24/7 operation, including:HolidaysInclement weatherEmergency coverageImportant Worksite NotesNo free parking available for first shiftPublic transportation is strongly encouragedJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
