Desktop Support Technician

Role OverviewWe are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to providehands-on Windows 11 deskside support in a clinical/corporate environment. Thisrole requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and experience withhardware deployment and end-user migrations. Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and support PC hardware including desktops, monitors, printers, and peripheralsProvide deskside support for Windows 11 operating systemsInstall, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and device driversUtilize SCCM for software deployment and system updatesPerform basic Active Directory support (user accounts, group membership, access awareness)Support OneDrive setup, data migration, and user data configurationTroubleshoot and support networked printing environmentsAssist clinicians and end users with device migrations from legacy systems to new hardwareMaintain accurate documentation of work performed and issues resolved Required Skills & Experience1–3 years of Windows 10/11 desktop or deskside support experience in a corporate or clinical environmentStrong hands-on experience with PC hardware deployment and refresh initiativesWorking knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory, OneDrive, and network printingExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersStrong documentation skills and attention to detailProfessional demeanor and appearance when supporting end users Additional RequirementsAbility to work independently while maintaining a service-oriented mindsetLead or escalation experience is a plus, but not requiredJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Providence, RI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
