Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC)"¯in Waukesha is hiring"¯a Certified"¯Veterinary Technician"¯to support our talented Internal Medicine department! We are offering a $2000 hiring bonus for this role! Schedule and"¯Compensation: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week"¯- no weekends! Competitive wages based on experience and skill set On call is not required for this role, occasional overtime may be required $2000 hiring bonus Who we're looking for: Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT) licensed in the state of Wisconsin OR are planning on obtaining their CVT license within nine months of hire will be given the highest consideration. Experienced Veterinary Assistants are also welcome to apply. A minimum of one year of experience in ER/SPC is preferred. Comfortable with technical skill sets such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, general nursing care, medical record writing, and drug calculation experience are required. General anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring knowledge, and the ability to calculate CRI's is preferred. Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) are required for the role."¯ Fluency in a language (or languages) other than English is a plus!
