If you are a forward thinking and results-driven IT individual, capable of leading digitaltransformation to drive innovative success, we invite you to apply for the role.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the University's IT strategy in alignment with its long-term goals and objectives.Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems and integrate emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing and other automation.Coordinate all activities with our outsourced partnerships to effectively optimize available resources, and assess the need for changesCollaborate with senior leadership to influence overall direction and demonstrate the ROI of technology investmentsOverseeing the management of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data management, conduct regular risk assessments and implement disaster recovery plansSpearheading the university's shift toward a data-driven, digital-first culture while overcoming resistance to changeDefine and execute the University's IT roadmap, including system upgrades, integrations and new technology implementationsEnsuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance and securityDevelop and enforce IT policies, procedures and standards to ensure data security, system reliability and work efficiencyManage IT budgets, resources and vendor relationships QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related fieldExperience: Demonstrable experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO), IT director or similar leadership role with 10 - 15 years in IT management.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to think strategically, anticipating industry shifts and adapting IT strategies to maximize opportunities.Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex topics to many constituencies.Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of business process, operations and financial literacy to align technology strategies with revenue growth and efficiency.BenefitsBethel is committed to offering meaningful benefits to our employees including health insurance, retirement plans, and a generous time off package.
