The Network Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of ingesting and screening of content for our networks, Comet, Charge, Roar, and The Nest. They are responsible for coordinating and readying material from suppliers, performing compliance screening as per Sinclair’s guidelines and collaborating with the scheduling team to make sure content is formatted & ready for its available rights windows. This role requires an understanding of programming & post-production practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in the broadcast television environment. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform compliance checks on acquisitions for Growth Networks: Screen upcoming films or series to confirm compliance reports from editing team. Update compliance reports with additional edits based on severity of content. Complete screenings and compliance in a timely manner to ensure content is edited in time for air. Create entries for film/TV properties on Growth Networks which includes: Enter all metadata obtained from distributors/Gracenote: Titles Production year Production company Duration Episode titles and descriptions Ratings, etc. Enter and update all contract data for film/TV acquisitions. Create and maintain SASO ID/House numbers used by Traffic & Master Control. Ensure all properties are accurate and adjust any discrepancies that arise. Required skills and experience: Heavy data entry experience Must be extremely detail oriented Must be comfortable viewing/being exposed to potentially objectionable materials (movie scenes with nudity, swearing, drugs, violence, rape, adult situations) for S&P review Prior entertainment experience is a strong plus but not necessary Prior experience with/exposure to contracts is strongly desired Desired skills and experience: Experience with Mediagenix or other scheduling systems. The base hourly compensation range for this role is $27.00 to $31.00 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
