Travel MRI Technician - $2,195 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey. Schedule AM Shift: Mondays & Fridays 10am-6pm; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 12pm-8pm Job Description The MRI Technician is responsible for positioning patients on the examining table, selecting and placing the appropriate coil near the area of interest, and following protocols set by the Radiologist. The technician will utilize a microphone to facilitate communication with patients during examinations and will document relevant data, including patient history and anatomical areas being scanned. Responsibilities Position patients on the examining table and apply coils such as head or knee coils. Demonstrate the use of communication equipment for patient interaction during examinations. Enter patient and imaging data into the computer system. Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures via control room observations. Review images for quality assurance and photograph them using designated equipment. Alert staff entering the magnet room about safety protocols regarding metal. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technician. Graduate of an accredited Radiology program. New Jersey State RT License. MR Certification.
