Credentialing Coordinator Location Fort Worth, TX 76104 | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $25/hour • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM • W2 • Start Date: ASAP ROLE IMPACT This role ensures timely, accurate credentialing and privileging for medical providers, supporting compliance and patient safety. Success is defined by maintaining up-to-date records, efficient processing within timelines, and professional collaboration with stakeholders across departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate full cycle credentialing for medical staff, including pre-screening, appointment, reappointment, and temporary privileges • Maintain and update confidential credentialing files and provider records, including licensure and certifications • Communicate provider status updates with managers and department leaders • Manage data in the Cactus database and provide access to credentialing info as needed • Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent • 3+ years' experience in a hospital or healthcare setting • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS • CPCS Certification (Preferred) CLINICAL SKILL SET • Credentialing workflow and compliance protocols • Cactus or similar credentialing database platforms • HIPAA-compliant document handling • Internal and external provider communications • Deadline-driven administrative operations PREFERRED SKILLS • 2+ years college with focus on management or healthcare admin • 1+ year credentialing experience • Knowledge of process improvement initiatives EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Visual acuity for screens and printed materials • Manual dexterity for prolonged typing, sitting, occasional bending and walking • Verbal communication via phone and face-to-face • Lift/move up to 25 lbs • Indoor, sedentary setting with moderate noise LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
