Pharmacy Technician - Data Intake Irving, TX | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $19.00/hour • Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM; weekends/OT as needed ROLE IMPACT: As a Pharmacy Technician in Data Intake, you'll be on the front lines of patient care, ensuring prescriptions are accurately entered, verified, and processed under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. This role supports medication distribution and administrative workflows, helping maintain high standards of patient safety, compliance, and service excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Accurately enter and process new prescriptions under pharmacist direction • Verify patient and prescriber information to ensure completeness • Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and recordkeeping • Support inbound phone calls and resolve routine prescription issues • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with HIPAA regulations MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy intake/data entry role required • Texas pharmacy technician license (mandatory) required • Ability to obtain Kentucky license post-onboarding required • Minimum 35 WPM typing speed required CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Pharmacy management software • Prescription verification systems • HIPAA-compliant communication tools PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience supporting phone-based pharmacy operations • Strong multi-tasking and time management • Exposure to oncology or specialty pharmacy workflows EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs as needed • Requires sitting or standing for extended periods • Full manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination required COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS • Pre-employment background and drug screening may be required • Must adhere to applicable state/federal pharmacy regulations LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
