Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Echo Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/20/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Compensation: Estimated Taxable Weekly Pay: $1603.20 Estimated Non-Taxable Weekly Pay: $1200 Estimated Total Weekly Pay: $2803 Opportunity: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Job Details: • Work 10-hour day shifts with variable start times at 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM • Complete 10 echo scans and reports per 10-hour shift • Daily caseload of 10 patients per technologist • Patient population includes adults (95% of volume, 8-10 per day), pediatrics (1-2 patients), neonates, infants, and geriatrics • Weekend requirement: work up to 6 weekend days per 6-week schedule (6 out of 12 weekend shifts) • On-call required: 0-2 shifts per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Guaranteed hours with facility ability to call off 1 shift per pay period (2 weeks) • Must have infant and pediatric experience - this is a hard requirement • At least 1 year of echo technologist experience required • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Required certifications: BLS, CCI RCS, ARRT-Sonography, RDCS-Adult, RDCS-Peds • Preferred certifications: RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-Peds • Skills include 3-D Echo, adult acute care, pediatric acute care, NICU, TEE, stress echo, portable studies, and more • Epic charting system experience preferred • 30-hour orientation period • Valid California license required - no temporary licenses accepted • Navy blue scrubs for general staff Facility: This acute care hospital features 212 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers free parking for staff. The hospital maintains high standards for patient care and requires extensive certification and experience requirements for their echo technologists, particularly emphasizing pediatric and infant experience as essential qualifications.
