Audit Coordinator Pittsburgh, PA 15276 (Hybrid) Salary: $55,000-$70,000 Our client is seeking an Audit Coordinator to ensure their organization is fully prepared for both internal and external audits. This role is ideal for someone with an accounting background who enjoys organization, documentation, and supporting compliance processes. You'll serve as a key link between auditors and internal departments, helping maintain accurate records and smooth audit operations. Key Responsibilities of the Audit Coordinator Role: Prepare and organize audit schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation. Coordinate audit requests and act as a liaison between auditors and internal teams. The Audit Coordinator will track audit findings, follow-up items, and assist in ensuring timely resolution. Support the accounting team with reconciliations, reporting, and compliance-related tasks. Maintain comprehensive audit records, checklists, and internal control documentation. Provide audit status updates and reports to management. The Audit Coordinator will ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Deliver organizational and administrative support throughout the audit process. Preferred Qualifications of the Audit Coordinator Role: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of experience in accounting, audit preparation, or compliance support preferred. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
