Payroll Clerk - South Bend, IN Salary: $42,000 - $50,000 annually About the Company and Payroll Clerk Opportunity: CFS is partnering with a well-established company in South Bend to hire a Payroll Clerk This Payroll Clerk will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations The right Payroll Clerk will enjoy working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting employees with payroll-related questions Position is fully in-office in South Bend, IN Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Job Duties of the Payroll Clerk: Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees Verify timecards, deductions, and employee data for accuracy Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state wage/hour laws Assist employees with payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies Prepare reports for management, HR, and accounting as needed Support year-end processes, including W-2 and tax filings Qualifications for the Payroll Clerk: Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred 1-3 years of payroll processing or accounting experience Familiarity with payroll software systems (ADP, Paylocity, Paychex, or similar) Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs Excellent communication and organizational skills #ZRCFS Click here to apply online
