Revenue Cycle Strategy & Forecasting Analyst Salary: $100,000-$105,000 Schedule- Onsite, Fort Collins Role Overview The Revenue Cycle Strategy & Forecasting Analyst supports the organization by analyzing how services are reimbursed, identifying trends in payer behavior, and forecasting revenue to improve financial performance. This role focuses on connecting the dots between clinical services, billing, payer contracts, and reimbursement outcomes. The Analyst plays a key role in strengthening the revenue cycle by building financial models, evaluating policy changes, and ensuring leadership has the insights needed to make informed decisions that sustain high-quality behavioral health services. Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Analysis & Strategy Analyze reimbursement across Medicaid, commercial, grant-funded, and value-based payer arrangements. Monitor changes in Medicaid and payer policies; evaluate their impact on billing and collections. Support payer contract reviews and negotiations by providing reimbursement modeling and projections. Forecasting & Financial Planning Contribute to multi-year revenue forecasts that reflect reimbursement dynamics and payer trends. Develop models to assess financial performance across the revenue cycle, from service delivery to final collections. Decision Support & Reporting Create dashboards and reports to track payer mix, denial trends, reimbursement rates, and revenue outcomes. Provide scenario modeling for rate adjustments, new payer models, and regulatory changes. Identify revenue leakage, financial risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaboration & Communication Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Operations teams to align reimbursement insights with organizational strategy. Communicate reimbursement trends and financial impacts clearly to both financial and non-financial leaders. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a liaison with Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations, and industry groups on reimbursement and revenue cycle issues. Collaborate with external consultants and partners to stay ahead of emerging payment models. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle analysis, healthcare reimbursement, or payer contracting (behavioral health/Medicaid preferred). Strong skills in financial modeling, Excel, and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Solid understanding of revenue cycle operations (billing, collections, denials, reimbursement). Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. #INSEP2025
