Reimbursement Strategy & Forecasting Analyst Salary: $100,000-$105,000 Location: Fort Collins, Onsite Role Overview The Reimbursement Strategy & Forecasting Analyst plays a critical role in helping the organization understand and adapt to how it gets paid by insurance companies, Medicaid, and other funding sources. This position focuses on analyzing payment models, forecasting revenue, and providing data-driven insights that support financial planning and decision-making. The Analyst works across Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to build financial models, evaluate policy changes, and ensure the organization remains financially strong while delivering high-quality behavioral health services. Key Responsibilities: Reimbursement Analysis & Strategy Analyze healthcare reimbursement models such as fee-for-service, capitation, value-based care, and prospective payment systems. Track and interpret Medicaid and legislative policy changes; assess financial impacts and recommend organizational responses. Support contract negotiations and program planning through reimbursement analysis and revenue projections. Forecasting & Financial Planning Contribute to multi-year revenue forecasting, incorporating payer trends and reimbursement dynamics. Develop financial models that integrate cost, service volume, and payment data to inform planning. Decision Support & Reporting Build dashboards and reports to help leadership understand the financial impact of reimbursement policies and service delivery. Run scenario analyses for new payer models, rate changes, or policy shifts. Identify risks and opportunities related to reimbursement and funding. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Finance, Clinical Operations, and Revenue Cycle teams to align financial analysis with organizational strategy. Present complex reimbursement and financial insights in a clear, accessible way for non-financial leaders. Stakeholder Engagement Partner with Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations, associations, and consultants to monitor and understand payment model developments. Provide internal expertise on reimbursement and funding-related initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (Master's degree or CHFP certification preferred). 5+ years of experience in healthcare finance, reimbursement analysis, or payer contracting (behavioral health/Medicaid experience strongly preferred). Strong analytical and modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methods and financial forecasting techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical financial information to a non-technical audience. #INSEP2025
