Production Associates-3rd shift Pastry Associates Pastry Assoctiates Responsibilities: Will work in the muffin making department so will have direct contact with food. Maintain hourly production targets. Train, develop, and motivate team members on job performance, quality expectations, and standardized work. Oversee product quality and ensure product being produced in compliance with customer specifications. Adheres to production schedules, ensures production orders are met for finished goods inventories, minimizing waste to ensure conformance to safety and quality standards. Removes all out-of-spec product from the line and notifies Production Supervisor of all non-conforming product or processes on the line. Maintain high rates of production as set by the Packaging Lead and Production Supervisor. Ensure a safe operation, complying with the corporate accident prevention program, and following safe work practices. Work in unison and assist fellow team members. Verify that all bags are in specification (no missing product, correct code date). Assist the Packaging Lead in line startups and changeovers. Keep entire area clean at all times. Performs other related responsibilities, as needed or directed by Production Supervisor and Manager. Maintains regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Attends Monthly required safety meetings when applicable. Plan, problem solve, foster healthy peer relations, and motivate others. Pastry Associates Qualifications: Quick and controlled hand-eye coordination. Able to stand for long periods of time. Must be flexible with schedule, including start times and weekend work. Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes. Able to problem solve, learn on the fly, process and technical learning, and quality decision. Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
