Assistant Controller About the company and opportunity: Our client is a service company with over 40 years in the business Organization is extremely stable and continuing to expand Dedicated to quality, honesty, and excellent client service Opportunities for advancement; both horizontally and vertically Great work/life balance, as they truly value their employees Amazing benefits package and fun perks, such as company outings and holiday parties Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000 Overview of the Assistant Controller role: Lead the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close processes Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP Partner with the Controller on audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor requests Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff, fostering professional growth Act as a key liaison between the accounting department and senior management Preferred qualifications for the Assistant Controller: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles #LI-LR1 #ZRCFS #INSEP2025
