Medical Billing & Insurance Verifier Location Flower Mound, TX"‚|"‚Onsite (Hybrid eligible after 90 days) COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $20-$22/hr • M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm • Temp-to-Hire • Start Date: ASAP KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform start-to-finish insurance verifications for commercial and government payors • Post patient and insurance payments; reconcile accounts to ensure AR accuracy • Resolve denied claims, investigate errors, and follow up with carriers independently • Respond to medical records requests and ensure documentation compliance • Collaborate with clinics and internal teams to prevent future billing issues MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years' experience in medical insurance verification and AR follow-up • Must be able to resolve denied claims and post EOBs with minimal oversight • Strong understanding of coverage rules, deductibles, and co-pay logic • High attention to detail, with strong communication and time management skills CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Net Health • AdvancedMD (preferred) • Microsoft Outlook • Excel or other spreadsheet tools • Multi-system documentation and billing portals PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience supporting multi-site or specialty medical billing • Familiarity with wound care, hyperbaric medicine, or DME billing • Comfort with virtual training, remote communication, and self-guided workflows LEGAL NOTICE • Pre-employment background and drug screening required By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
