Front End/Full Stack Developer

Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in Dearborn, MI. Responsibilities: Spend the majority of your day coding and pair programming (6+ hours daily) Take business requirements and write the first cut of user stories , refining them with the team before development begins Build applications from scratch , not just modifying existing systems Develop the front end in Angular 18 (~80% of work) and back end in Java Spring Boot with PostgreSQL (~20%) Participate in refinement sessions, code reviews, and architectural discussions Troubleshoot and resolve issues directly with business stakeholders and end-users Collaborate with teammates to ensure shared understanding of features, best practices, and functionality Contribute to cloud and DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub) and deployments (GCP, AWS, PCF) Engage in knowledge sharing sessions weekly to upskill and learn from peers Requirements: 6-10 years of professional software development experience Strong expertise in Angular (latest versions, ideally Angular 18) , with ability to explain features, scope, and design decisions Solid back-end skills with Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL Familiarity with cloud platforms ( GCP, AWS, PCF ) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins) Proven experience in building applications from scratch - taking requirements through to implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills; thrives in pair programming and highly interactive environments Problem-solving mindset and ability to ask questions to ensure deep understanding of functionality Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
