Position Details: Title: Assistant Analytical Chemist Position Type: 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need Job Location : Madison Heights, MI Shift: 1st Benefits : 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance Compensation: $27/HR Responsibilities: Operate and perform routine maintenance of analytical equipment. Maintain and update analytical methods and procedures. Work efficiently and effectively on major project teams. Prepare high-quality customer reports and manage project portfolios. Interface with customers through correspondence, presentations, and other communications. Ensure compliance with corporate standards, including safety, housekeeping, and quality. Maintain and utilize digital programs such as Microsoft Office, LIMS, and statistical analysis tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry; prior laboratory experience preferred. Previous experience in an analytical laboratory highly desirable. Strong wet chemistry skills, including titrations, filtration, dilution, extraction, and gravimetric determinations. Knowledge and experience with GC-FID; familiarity with ICP, IC, SEM/EDS, and FTIR desirable. Experience using pH and specific ion electrode meters. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail. Strong chemical math and PC skills. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Apply Today!
