Controls Design Engineer

Job Title: Controls Design Engineer Are you a skilled Controls Design Engineer seeking a dynamic role in a thriving industry? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our Automation and Controls team, where you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of onboard automation systems for our custom Air Handling Units. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a hands-on environment, working with cutting-edge technology to solve complex challenges in commercial applications, including data centers. Key Responsibilities Translate customer specifications and technical documents into functional controls programs. Design and develop the Bill of Materials and schematics for comprehensive controls systems. Collaborate with a team to test, troubleshoot, and document automation systems on the production floor and at job sites. Required Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience with HVAC Building Automation Systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting Sequences of Operations (SOO). Familiarity with a variety of HVAC controls software and communication protocols. Ability to travel domestically as required by project needs. Must be authorized to work in the United States and be based in Houston, TX.
