Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for an opportunity with a client located in Chesterfield, MO. Responsibilities: Assist in research and analysis of various federal tax issues to determine the most appropriate cost-effective filing position Build and maintain relationships with outsourced tax support services Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste Lead the domestic and international transfer pricing process and maintain the related documentation Oversee the calculation and payment of estimated federal and state income taxes Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns, including related schedules Prepare income tax provision for financial reporting purposes Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies and assist with federal and state income tax audits Review the reconciliation of income tax balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis Support the execution of the tax strategic plans Qualifications (required) 3+ years of income tax experience Ability to meet established deadlines/goal dates Bachelor's degree in accounting or taxation Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills Qualifications (preferred) Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment CPA certification or qualified to sit for the CPA exam Excellent organizational and planning skills Master's degree in accounting or taxation Related experience in tax management or tax consulting Additional Occasional overnight travel required.
