Automation Technician

Duration: 12-month contract with Extension Dupont Shift: 6 to 10 Weeks (8 to 4 PM), day sift in training time. After the training 12hrs shift as: - (4 days on, 7 days off, 4 days night, 3 days off, 3 days night, 3 days off, 3 days day shift). 14-day shift with 8 hrs OT. Job Description: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide array of automation system in the warehouse area including, mini load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, various roller conveyors, and automation devices. Work with the operations team to ensure all processes and equipment are running smoothly and any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Work with the engineering team on advanced support issues or process improvement projects. Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly. Experience: Education:  A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology Demonstrated experience with robots and conveyor systems Ability to navigate and interpret PLC code In lieu of a degree, 5+ years hands-on experience with robots, PLCs, AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and other automation related equipment Windows PC and Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word) Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work safely around automated equipment Education: A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
