Janitor

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, sanitary, and presentable environment for employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces Empty trash bins and replace liners Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, tissue, etc.) Perform minor maintenance and report repairs when needed Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Assist with setting up and cleaning after events or meetings Skills & Qualifications: Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely Strong attention to detail and time management skills Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1+ year of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or related work is a plus
