Credit Associate

Position Overview We are seeking highly detail-oriented Credit Associates to support loan and credit operations. This role involves reviewing loan account and transaction histories, recreating account records to ensure accuracy, and researching delinquency data. Candidates must be able to follow standard operating procedures, manage repetitive tasks with precision, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, normal business hours between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shift). Key Responsibilities Research loan and credit accounts, including transaction and payment history, to confirm accuracy. Conduct credit bureau research to identify first delinquency dates. Perform accurate data entry, including basic calculations (addition/subtraction). Follow established SOPs and internal procedures. Communicate with internal stakeholders via email and Microsoft Teams. Provide feedback, ask clarifying questions, and escalate issues as needed. Support operational readiness of the team through consistent, high-quality work. Required Skills & Qualifications Loan or payment application experience required. 1-2 years of experience in credit, loan processing, payment processing, or a related field. High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills Experience with repetitive task processing requiring accuracy and focus. Familiarity with credit line research and delinquency tracking. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
