If you are interested in this Remote Medicare Service Representative position, please contact Austin Faris at 586-710-7941 or afaris@ Remote Medicare Service Representative Compensation The pay for this position is $20.28 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Remote Medicare Service Representative Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs This is a fully remote, work-from-home role Required availability for an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday Training is conducted virtually, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST for 53 days with 100% attendance required No scheduled time off is permitted during the training period Remote Medicare Service Representative Responsibilities Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, including escalations, and complete case work offline as needed Process prescription drug reimbursement, including insurance plan types, PBM, prior authorizations, and appeals Accurately document cases in compliance with program guidelines Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and internal partners Acquire and maintain knowledge of Medicare benefits, enrollments, LIS assistance, and changing Med D guidance Ensure adherence to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time standards consistently Remote Medicare Service Representative Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred At least 2 years of healthcare and/or health call center experience (problem resolution, business writing, quality improvement, customer service) At least 6 months in a virtual/remote role where the supervisor was not in the same location At least 6 months in a high-volume call center required PBM/pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously Professional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Reliable home internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) with a wired ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted) Private, distraction-free home office with a door to ensure HIPAA compliance Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days If you think this Remote Medicare Service Representative position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
