Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer in Wilson, NC who is hiring an Operations Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This role is ideal for a proven leader from the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry who thrives on driving performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering high-performing teams. Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations for oral solid dose and/or liquids production lines, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with cGMP and FDA standards. Lead and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators, building a culture of accountability, safety, compliance and continuous improvement. Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to deliver production goals and resolve operational challenges. Monitor and improve KPIs including output, quality, OEE, and labor productivity while managing departmental budgets. Champion lean manufacturing practices, drive process improvements, and support capital projects. Serve as a member of the site leadership team, contributing to strategic and tactical plant objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Operations, or related discipline; Associate's degree with strong experience considered. 5 plus years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, OSD, liquids, or regulated consumer goods preferred. Strong working knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and batch manufacturing or packaging processes. Proven success leading teams in a high-volume, regulated environment. Skilled in ERP tools and production/quality systems, SAP experience a plus. Strong budget, planning, and continuous improvement background. Preferred: Experience with oral solid dose equipment (compression, encapsulation, coating, packaging) or liquid formulations. Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification. Experience supporting FDA, DEA, OSHA, or other regulatory audits.
