Ingredient Storage - Cleaning Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our manufacturing team in Altavista, VA. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by following established housekeeping and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks in accordance with company guidelines and safety procedures. Safely operate cleaning equipment, including self-propelled floor scrubbers, floor buffers, and chemical applicators. Mix and handle cleaning chemicals accurately to ensure effective sanitation. Clean and sanitize raw ingredient storage areas, trailer dock doors, and other designated production areas. Assist with general facility cleanliness to maintain compliance with sanitation and safety standards. Operate a forklift as needed to support sanitation tasks (preferred but not required). Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 0-1 year of related experience in sanitation or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of sanitation requirements in a manufacturing facility. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures. Forklift experience preferred. Schedule 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
