Maintenance Engineer - I

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - I Location: Elkhorn, NE Duration: 12 Months+ (With Possibility of Extension) Duties & Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair utility and production equipment (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic). • Use basic and advanced diagnostic tools including predictive maintenance tools. • Execute preventive maintenance per OEM/engineering standards: calibration, inspections, minor/major overhauls. • Perform complex repairs to support safety, quality, and equipment uptime. • Fabricate components using shop tools (mills, lathes, drill press, welding). • Use SAP or other CMMS software for managing maintenance tasks. • Support operator training for equipment inspections and routine maintenance. • Participate in TPM/Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate within a team-driven environment with open communication and accountability. Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma + 7 years' experience, or • Associate's Degree + 4 years' experience, or • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years' experience in a manufacturing setting.
