Network Administrator Location: Zeeland, MI | Onsite Employment Type: Fulltime | Permanent Salary: $,000-$120,000 We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator II to join a dynamic IT Infrastructure team. This role is hands-on and highly technical, with a strong emphasis on enterprise networking and firewall management. You will be responsible for ensuring network stability, security, and performance across a complex enterprise environment, while also contributing to strategic projects and system enhancements. Key Responsibilities of the Network Administrator: Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise network equipment including Cisco and Juniper switches. Manage, implement, and update firewall rules across Palo Alto and Fortinet platforms. Support and administer Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security. Provide advanced technical support to internal users, ensuring timely resolution of network issues. Collaborate with IT security and infrastructure teams to maintain a secure and resilient environment. Document system configurations, processes, and policies for compliance and operational efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications of the Network Administrator: 3-5 years of hands-on enterprise networking and firewall administration. Proficiency with Cisco CLI (routers and switches). Strong enterprise firewall experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet. Demonstrated ability to support end users and resolve escalated issues. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred/Bonus Skills of the Network Administrator: Experience with Cisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions. Knowledge of advanced network security and monitoring practices. Self-motivated and able to take ownership of their work. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with limited micromanagement.
