Position: Office Manager/HR Coordinator Location: Grand Rapids, MI Salary Range: 23/hr.-29/hr. Our client is seeking a people-focused Office Manager/HR Coordinator to join their growing construction company that truly values their employees. This role sits at the heart of the office, right at the front desk, welcoming team members and customers while providing critical HR and administrative support. What You'll Do as the Office Manager/HR Coordinator Be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, delivering excellent customer service. Coordinate fun and meaningful company events. Support employee onboarding and ensure new hires feel welcomed and set up for success. Partner with the Safety Director on compliance and safety initiatives. Assist employees with HR-related questions, including payroll and benefits. Set up boardrooms and organize lunches/meetings as needed. What You Bring as the Office Manager/HR Coordinator Prior HR knowledge and experience (exposure to payroll, benefits, or general HR functions). Familiarity with HR terms and programs (FMLA, short/long-term disability, etc.). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. A positive, people-first mindset.
