REMOTE HCC RISK ADJUSTMENT CODER Location: Remote (Must be based in Houston, TX - Onsite meetings in The Woodlands twice per year) Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00/hr Start Date: ASAP Training: 1-week training provided Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HCC Risk Adjustment Coder to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in risk adjustment coding , strong familiarity with ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding systems, and the ability to abstract clinical information from medical records with precision. Requirements CPC certification (required) CRC certification (preferred) Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Risk Adjustment (HCC) coding Proficiency in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding Strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently with minimal supervision Must reside in the Houston, TX area Availability to attend onsite meetings in The Woodlands twice a year
