Job Title: R&D Technician - Fermentation & Biotechnology Job ID: 25-10183 Location: Glenview , IL 60025 Duration: 03 Months On W2 Contract Must haves: 1-3 years of prior microbiology laboratory experience Demonstrated strong work ethic and enthusiasm for hands-on research Local candidates only - relocation assistance is not available for this position Job Description: Contractor - Technician - R&D - Fermentation & Biotechnology The individual will support the Fermentation & Biotechnology Team working from the Glenview R&D facility, 40 hours per week on site. This position offers the candidate an excellent opportunity to learn alongside the innovative and disruptive Fermentation and Biotechnology team and will be instrumental in delivering new research platform initiatives across Client' product categories. The candidate will primarily support the natural preservation team, performing microbiology benchwork. This individual must have a proven strong technical background, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and project management skills. He or she will progress internal research initiatives, while supporting external research collaboration programs. Requirements High school diploma required, B.S. in Microbiology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related fields preferred Strong organization, verbal and written communication, and data recording skills Ability to learn quickly and work independently Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage complexity in a fast-paced environment Strong out of the box thinker on solving technical problems Demonstrated record of conducting research projects either individually and or in collaboration with other teams Demonstrate ability to deal with ambiguity Possess technical /intellectual curiosity Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $35.16 per hour.
