Business Development Manager

Position Title: Business Development Manager Salary: $80,000-$100,000 DOE Location: San Antonio, TX (some travel required) Employment Type: Full-time About Our Client: Our client is a fast-growing company supporting individuals enrolled in Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) programs. They are seeking a strategic and proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth efforts and expand their impact on individuals who self-direct their care through Medicaid-funded programs. Why You'll Love Working Here: Mission-driven team making a meaningful difference in people's lives Growing organization with opportunities for leadership and long-term impact Collaborative and supportive executive team Flexible environment with room to take initiative and innovate Top Priorities: Research and interpret state-specific rules and regulations for Consumer Directed Services Identify and pursue RFP opportunities aligned with HCBS program goals Lead the drafting and submission of contracts and proposals Support service delivery under awarded contracts, including subcontracting arrangements Build strong knowledge of state Medicaid requirements and program rules Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for Medicaid self-directed programs Manage the end-to-end RFP process including proposal writing and compliance review Build partnerships with state Medicaid agencies, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and other stakeholders Collaborate with leadership to develop financial projections and feasibility assessments Negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with regulatory and program-specific guidelines Represent the organization at conferences, stakeholder meetings, and industry events Monitor changes in federal and state regulations related to HCBS and provide strategic guidance Ensure coordination with internal compliance and operations teams Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a senior-level business development or strategic leadership role, preferably in healthcare or Medicaid-related services 3+ years of experience with RFPs and contract development Strong understanding of HCBS or FMSA programs preferred Excellent communication and proposal writing skills #BDM #businessdevelopment #healthcare #texas #CFSJOBS #texasjobs #businessdev #INSEP2025
