We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering and design production efforts for a variety of building and facilities projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Mechanical Engineering and Project Managers, providing technical leadership and project oversight. Our client is a well-established architectural/engineering firm that delivers comprehensive design and planning services across a wide range of markets including Commercial, Education, Government (Local, State, Federal), Mixed Use, Retail, and Workplace environments. They are known for their collaborative approach and commitment to excellence in building and site development projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. institution. PE License (Mechanical) in the United States. Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical and plumbing engineering within an A/E design consulting firm. Expertise in HVAC systems, controls, plumbing, fire protection, piping, and mechanical utilities. Knowledge of building codes and design principles. Proficiency in REVIT MEP (AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus). Experience with HVAC analysis software (Carrier HAP or NIBS Trace 700 preferred). Familiarity with A/E industry BIM standards. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
