Vice President of Finance (Hybrid - Naperville, IL) Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 + 10% Bonus An established and mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its senior leadership team. The organization delivers high-quality, affordable healthcare to thousands of patients across the western suburbs of Chicago through its network of community health centers, home care, and hospice services. The Role The Vice President of Finance will oversee all accounting and finance functions, managing a team of six (including senior accountant, staff accountants, grants accountant, AP, and payroll). Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position is highly visible within leadership and the board. The Vice President of Finance will take a hands-on approach-leading day-to-day operations while also guiding long-term strategy. You'll be responsible for grants management, compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring the department operates with accuracy, timeliness, and integrity. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a six-person accounting and finance team. Oversee grants management and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Manage financial reporting, audits, and budget preparation. Maintain and improve financial systems (NetSuite, with some legacy Sage). Partner with senior leadership and the board on financial strategy and planning. Serve as a potential successor for the CFO role.
