Maintenance Technician

We have an immediate full-time opportunity at our Elk Grove Village, IL facility for an experienced Maintenance Technician. Primary Purpose: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform mechanical duties such as troubleshooting and repairing all types of equipment. Assemble, dissemble, removal, installing, cleaning and lubricating, shafts, bearings, gear pulleys, hydraulics, pneumatic or mechanical parts of machines. Use precision measuring alignment, power tools and testing equipment. Repair or replace gauges, valves, regulators and components of hydraulic, pneumatic, and other fluid powered equipment or mechanical systems. Connect or disconnect electrical equipment or components that ae incidental to repairs. Perform and record work completed through the work order system. Follow safety rules and use LOTO whenever needed. Operate powered lift trucks, manlifts, and cranes as required. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Move materials, equipment, or supplies to and from workstations and other areas between two buildings. Must have organizational skills and maintaining spare parts and supplies on shelves. Maintain work are clean and organized. Education and Experience: High School Diploma 5 years of experience in maintenance or related field Good communication and writing skills.
